Laurus International School of Science is seeking a qualified Marketing Specialist. The successful candidate will focus on creating, implementing, tracking and optimizing our digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various marketing channels. They will utilize the latest digital media strategies and tools for marketing purposes with the aim of increasing awareness of our school and mission to the wider international community residing in Japan and beyond.
You may be required to publish blogs, video blogs, websites, articles, conduct in person presentations and attend networking events. You will work towards the promotion of our unique selling points and advertise our innovative educational programmes.
By joining us, you will be tasked with enhancing our student population and promoting the school’s vision and reputation, both domestically and internationally.
-Develop offline and digital media strategies with goals aligned with the school’s vision, and enhance our online presence and brand awareness.
-Create digital content including websites, blogs, social media, articles, animated explainer videos, etc.
-Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising campaigns. Create visual concepts for promotional activities.
-Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
-Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through networking and prospecting.
-BSc degree in Marketing or similar field.
-Minimum of 1-3 years of proven work experience as a Marketing Specialist. (A portfolio of previous projects preferred)
-Knowledge of basic HTML, web publishing, SEO, and digital marketing software.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Quality content generation and management skills.
-Creativity and ability to think outside of the box.
-Bilingual Japanese / English ability is helpful but not required.
*Professional certifications like Digital Marketing Fundamentals and Digital Brand Management will be an advantage.
*Previous experience in the education industry would be an advantage.
350,000 - 400,000 per month
-Monday to Friday
-8:30 to 17:30 with a one-hour break
-40 hours per week
-Transportation costs covered (up to 20,000 yen per month)
