We are looking for new people with a love for video games to join our Localization team!
A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality translations and review text from the latest translation programs to check for mistranslations, inconsistencies, and any disruptions to narrative flow.
Our client base ranges from AAA game studios to indie developers.
-Native Speaker of German, Brazilian Portugues, or Latin American Spanish
-Strong creative writing skills in your native language
-Strong command of the Japanese language (JLPT N1 preferred)
-English communication skills
-Interest in Japanese media (video games, anime, manga etc.)
-Basic PC skills (Microsoft suite)
-Residence in the Kanto region
-Valid working visa in Japan
-Interest in Japanese culture
-Effective business communication skills in English/Japanese (i.e. emails)
-Experience with translation tools such as Trados, MemoQ, WordFast, etc.
-Minimum 1 year translation experience in the entertainment industry
-Experience dealing with clients in Japanese
-N1 equivalent writing and reading skills in Japanese
-Weekdays 10:00~19:00 (Flextime)
-Remote work available
