[Develop Japanese Soba restaurants overseas]
At Dreamaps, new projects start with people. We are currently searching for a highly skilled project senior staff to develop our new business, Japanese Soba restaurants, especially in overseas. The ideal candidates for the job will be a person who has capability of being executed and flexibility in his/her manner of thinking. S/he will have previous experience working in the food service industry or have experience planning and developing a new business overseas.
Objectives of this Role:
・Marketing research related to overseas expansion
・Plan and manage a new restaurant business in overseas
・Preparation to operate new restaurants
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
・Manage communication with upper managements and execute various tasks to make our project work out
・Marketing research of Soba restaurants in overseas such as searching locations of new restaurants and researching market trends in the prospective countries
・Plan effective marketing campaign in overseas
・Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals
・Report project outcomes and/or risks as needed
・Carry out the procedure to open restaurants in overseas, including checking the laws and regulation of the prospective countries
・Find overseas outside suppliers or merchandisers and establish relationships
・Follow up new-opening overseas restaurants and support them as needed
・Administrative work related to a new business
・Occasionally support and help restaurants as floor staff
・Native level English
・Business level Japanese (reading, writing, daily conversation)
・Understanding and knowledge of Japanese business culture
・Currently living in Japan
・Flexible worker willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
・3 year experience in the food service industry
・Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
・Strong written and verbal communication skills
・Experiences with developing a new business
・Ability to multitask
Terms of Employment:
Employment type: Permanent employee (trial period: 6months)
Working hours: 10:00-19:00 as office work (with one-hour break, total of 9 working hours)
*Working hours will be changed depending on the duties*
Salary: JPY 4,500,000-/year (includes overtime allowance)
*Salary will be determined based on skills and experience
Benefits: Social insurance, Transportation fee, Paid leave
Holidays: 6 days in 4 weeks (depending on the work shift)
