Beauty of Japan is a luxury destination management company based in Tokyo offering fully tailor-made itinerary planning and all the land arrangement services for the whole country to individual and group travelers.

As the inbound tourism industry is rapidly growing after border reopening, our business is also growing fast and we are hiring a passionate and dynamic director of operations who will be responsible for our luxury inbound tour department. This is a key position in a company and "right hand" of CEO. You will be directly dealing with agents and high-end travelers in Europe/Americas/Oceania to create attractive and creative itinerary based on client's interest, and make sure to provide 100% satisfactory trip. You will also be working with an internal reservation team to arrange all the land services, such as accommodation, transportation, guides, tickets, restaurants, and experience programs, while making sure the highest customer satisfaction and smooth tour operation with on-site guest support when clients are in Japan.

Responsibilities
- Manage the entire DMC business of Beauty of Japan, which includes sales, CRM, quotation, P&L.
- Directly deal with agents for client's trip from the beginning to the end that includes itinerary creation, quotation, confirmation, reservation, supplier coordination, payments, and customer support with hospitality mind
- Staff management of the tour department, which includes, hiring, member's workload, motivation, education, evaluation, operation improvement.
- Maintain/improve supplier relationship management.
- Strategy creation based on company's direction, organization growth and business system development.
- Cooperation with other departments
- Handling the emergency cases on weekends/holidays

Required skills
- Minimum of 5 years work experience at DMC in Japan
- Minimum of 3 years of team management
- Must have knowledge of luxury travel and hospitality mind
- Excellent English and Japanese communication skill
- "out of the box" mind
- Passion to promote Japan and grow the company
