Overview
Our expanding Japanese language school is looking for a full-time sales and customer support staff to handle a growing number of online inquiries and bookings, working from our central location in downtown Nagoya.
The successful candidate will handle online student recruitment and student support as part of the Sales Team in a busy but fun environment. The work will mostly consist of responding to enquiries by email and other methods, preparing estimates, booking clients, and helping students in Nagoya.
Working visa sponsorship is available.
Responsibilities
-- Communication with potential clients in English primarily by email, sometimes in phone and in person
-- Managing bookings and reservations in our online system
-- Reception work helping students and customers
-- Communication with staff in Japanese
-- Other office and administrative duties
Requirements
-- Native-speaker or very advanced English
-- High intermediate or above Japanese
-- Microsoft Office Proficiency
-- Basic knowledge of typical office software
-- Valid long term visa in Japan
Useful skills (not requirements)
-- Data management, sales experience
-- Other language ability, especially German
-- Customer service chat/messenger experience
Salary/benefits
-- Location: Nagoya downtown
-- Salary: starting from 270,000 yen per month (250,000 yen during the 3-months trial period), depending on experience. Yearly bonus/salary increase available.
-- Contract type: after 3-month trial period, full-time contract (permanent contracts available)
-- Benefits: paid leave, transportation expenses, insurance, Japanese study/study travel discounts, etc.
-- Working schedule: 9am - 6pm, with lunch break, Monday to Friday (limited flextime available)
