Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Specialist to join our Internal Consulting team in a permanent role. We are looking for individuals with a broad skillset across a range of tools and technologies, who love solving problems and developing solutions that can add significant value to our clients projects and problems.


Location: Kasumigaseki, Tokyo

Compensation / Welfare - Negotiable

Responsibility / Duties:
Solve business problems & develop a business solution: Use problem-solving methodologies. Recommend, design and develop data-driven analysis using statistical & advanced analytics methodologies. Identify and eliminate possible obstacles and identify alternative creative solutions.

Build deep client relationships, network and be a trusted advisor. Anticipate business problems & set up clients for success. Interface with clients/senior stakeholders to understand their concerns and work with the team on solutions that address the client need


Requirements / Skills

Experience with machine learning or deep learning models, such as CNNs, RNNs and GANs.

Management of big data clusters

Proficient technical writing and strong communication skills

Masters or Doctorate degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or other related field.

We look for people with a solid computational background (but are not necessarily computer scientists or hands on coders) who enjoy working on complex and challenging problems in a highly collaborative environment.
