Who are we?
RHDJapan is an e-commerce company with a small international team of 20 employees located in Hirakata, Osaka. Hirakata is an area which allows easy access to not only Kyoto and Osaka city but Nara and Kobe as well.



Looking for someone who:

・Is passionate about creating elegant and modern UI/UX designs

・Works well in a small team Agile development environment.

・Has excellent time management and organizational skills.

・Writes well-designed, documented, clean code.

・Has a strong knowledge about Javascript & Typescript, Server Side Rendered React (NextJs) and React Hooks

・Has some experience using Redux, Redux-Thunk, and Redux-Persist

・Has some experience building UI around REST & GraphQL APIs

・Has some experience testing Javascript application (Jest, Enzyme, Cypress)

・Has an in-depth knowledge of SEO / SEA best practices

・Has some knowledge about modern CSS and CSS Preprocessors (SASS/SCSS/LESS)

・Has bundled javascript modules with Webpack.

・Has some knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop and Adobe XD.

・Can live and function in Japan responsibly.



Knowledge or Experience with PWA and Magento would be a big plus.
Knowledge about styled-components (React library) and experience with Storybook is appreciated.


Detailed description and job requirements:

・You will be expected to build and customize a React Application for headless Magento2 stores; following provided PSD designs.

・You will be expected to keep the Rest application up to date according to the SEO best practices.

・You will be working alongside a small team of 5 developers to ensure milestones are kept in our migration to Magento2.



Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates but preference is given to candidates in Japan already. Enrolment to health insurance, social insurance, and the Japanese pension system starts the day you start with us. Daily commutation within the Osaka/Kyoto city area to our office will be covered separately as well.
