🖥️✨ IT Support T1 - Join Our Team Today! ✨🖥️

The IT Support T1 is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading the computer systems and networks from Monday to Friday at our client's office in Tokyo.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing both hardware and software faults for minor IT issues. No written Japanese language ability is required, but conversational Japanese ability is a plus, in order to offer in-person IT support to our friendly client's general staff.

Primarily, you will oversee the smooth running of computer systems and applications such as Microsoft O365, ensuring that users get maximum usage from them, and acting as the firstline of IT support for general issues.


🛠️ [Job Objectives and Responsibilities] 🤝

The following represents the key activities that the IT Support T1 will be responsible for:

・ Conducting Hardware and software audits under the direction of QTS Global
・ Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
・ Replacing peripherals or hardware components such as memory and disk
・ Troubleshooting client networking problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
・ Monitoring and resolving Help Desk tickets
・ Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs if applicable.
・ Working continuously on a task until completion (or escalation to Tier 2 engineers if appropriate)
・ Providing face-to-face or telephone support to clients, helping set up systems, or resolve issues
・ Building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
・ Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
・ Providing procedural documentation and relevant reports
・ Following written and spoken instructions to repair a fault or set up a new system
・ Supporting the roll-out of new applications or deploying updates to address vulnerabilities.
