■ Job Description:
Writing English articles for Japan-based travel websites

■ Position:
English Writer

We are looking to add additional English language writers to our content creation team.
The right candidate should have professional writing experience, and sufficient Japanese skills to visit a location as part of a small team and gather the necessary information to write an article relatively independently. We greatly prioritize English writing ability, so while fluency is not a necessity, the ability to work from Japanese source information is.
※Passion for travel and traditional Japanese culture an advantage!

SEDO is a Tokyo-based content creation and marketing company specializing in the inbound market as well as projects targeting Japan’s international residents. We have extensive experience in creating and promoting high-quality multilingual content using our international team of writers, translators, editors, designers and other creatives for numerous industries and governmental bodies.

■ Requirements:
・Native English speaker
・Professional writing experience
・Right to work in Japan

■ Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:
・Interest in Japanese culture, food, tourism, inbound marketing, etc.
・Passion for writing, and communicating Japanese culture

■ Contract type:
・Freelance, but contracted positions are available for the right candidate

■ Location:
Remote, but travel required

■ Salary guidance:

Writing Fee (approximate):
30,000 yen/article (for one day trip)
50,000 yen/article (when an overnight stay is required)
