Description

Role Description:
Performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of end user computing equipment and peripheral equipment at corporate locations.
Exercise judgment with supervision within the generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and acts as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution.

Essential duties and required experience:
。 Provide support to users and to meet specified SLAs.
。 Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems associated with EUC equipment
。 Support Authorized Users in connecting or attempting to connect to corporate network, network printer, and file services.
。 Provide maintenance and configuration for mobile devices
。 Install, upgrade and repair EUC equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals)
。 Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms
。 Provide VIP support for equipment including desktop devices, mobile devices, display screens, video systems, docking stations, communication devices, direct attached printers, scanners, wireless networking, etc
。 Provide regular, accurate, and timely feedback.
。 Utilize problem management database and systems to track and report on customer calls and requests.
。 Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical team and customers.
。 Ocassionally help the remote team that manages the network devices and severs with tasks that can not be performed remotely; always following clear instructions from the administrators that manage those devices.

Required Languages:
High-level Japanese with English Ability
。 Native Japanese with conversational English.
。 Non-native N1 or High N2 Japanese level* with fluent English.
*Certificate not required only equivalent ability.

Location and Budget:
。Greater Tokyo
。JPY350,000 - JPY430,000

Contract Type:
。Mon-Fri 9-6
。No overtime expected (if any required for an exceptional case it will be paid).
。Self employed Contractor or Business to Business relationship.
。Must have work visa with more than one year until expiry or Japanese passport.
。Engineers who can commit long term preferred.
