Founded in the year 2000, Zest Corporation (Retail name -Nature Ave.-) began business as a Ceramics retail company in the heart of Japan's ceramic region, Tokishi.
Evolving into a retailer and wholesaler business, we began importing growing European brands into Japan.
Last year, Zest Corporation become the official Japanese partner for STACKERS, a UK based design company.
Japanese products are highly sought after and are at the height of their trendiness worldwide.
The demand for premium EU brands in Japan is always present and the market is always searching for new products.
Derived from our focus on these new lines, Zest Corp has doubled revenue in the last year, and expect to double again by the end of 2020.
We share an office and work in collaboration with LOLO CO., LTD. that has a 50-year-old ceramics tradition in Tokishi.

JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for the newest member of our team to help impulse sales and brand visibility, both nationally and internationally.
The successful candidate would be in charge of assisting in the holistic management of the company's main brands.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Sales account management
•E-commerce oversight
•Market research
•Logistics and supply chain
•Accounting
•Warehouse and stock management
•Database creation and management

REQUIREMENT
•Adaptability - Every workday is different and priorities fluctuate quickly
•Creativity - New ideas and innovation is always welcome
•Own vehicle - There is limited public transport to and from the closest train station

SKILL SET
•Multitasking ability - There are a large number of projects moving at once with daily updates
•Computer Savvy - 90% of your job will be on a computer
•Communication - The company has Japanese and Foreign workers as well as a variety of clients worldwide
•Language - Both English and Japanese are used daily in the office as well as by telephone and email.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Location - Tokishi, Gifu
Office-based
Some travel may be required to assist in events, mainly in the Tokyo area

INITIAL CONTRACT
1 Month trial period into monthly part-time contract 2-4 days/week (depending on workload).
Part-time contract (visa support not available).
¥1,100 to ¥1,600 per hour, depending on skill and experience.
Base salary with additional commission-based compensation.
Flexible work hours.
Possibility to work from home for determined tasks.
Expected to become a full-time position in the coming months.
Paid leave, travel expenses, employment insurance, worker's accident insurance

Full-time worker (visa support available)
40h work week
