Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy (JVTA) is a Tokyo/LA-based school/agent specialized in translation of audio visual and other media content. Since our founding in 1996, we have been dedicated to educating competent translators who can lead the industry and providing versatile multilingual solutions to our customers.

In 2015, JVTA launched a new skill-driven communication school called Global Communication Arts Institute (GCAI), where the primary focus is to nurture and produce Global Publicists who can work effectively in the fast-growing media, tourism, and other industries.

Job positions:
We are looking for motivated bilingual candidates for full-time employment. The position is Assistant Director to start with. Work place is our Tokyo Office. Responsibility includes product development, school administration, management of translation services and coordination with overseas counter parts.

Requirements:
1. Language skills: Native English with advanced business Japanese (JLPT-N2 or above)
2. Business communication skills including PC and IT
