Award-winning Craft Brewery in Kawasaki Seeks Brewing Support Staff!

<Overview>
We are looking for brewery staff to join our team!
We are a brewery established in 2011 in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. You would be working with our founding brewer who is originally from the U.S. with over 25 years of experience in the industry.
This can be a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the brewing industry or a professional to enhance their abilities.

<Responsibility / Duties>
Initially, you will start with basic operation duties such as cleaning, packaging, labeling, carrying loads (20~30kg), delivery, working at beer events, simple office work, and so on. If you are qualified, you will be gradually asked to assist in brewing operations.

<Working Conditions>
4~5 hours a day between 10:00-17:00
At least 3 days a week (mainly weekdays)
*Not a fixed day of the week. Depending on production demands, we may ask to increase
the days.

*Although we encourage Part-Time employment, we may also offer Full-Time conditions based on your qualifications.

<Location>
7 minutes walk from Kuji Station on JR Nambu Line
*Bicycle commuting possible.
*Transportation expenses paid (up to a limit).

<Requirements / Preferred Personality>
・Passionate about brewing and craft beer.
・Responsible for sanitation and food production.
・Must be physically fit (20-30 kg of multiple heavy lifting and unloading is required).
・Able to withstand the heat, cold, and noise (not air-conditioned in the brewery).
・A regular driver’s license is preferable.
・More than conversational Japanese skill is preferable.

Depending on your efforts and growth, the range of work can expand. As a small brewery, you may experience a variety of tasks related to the brewery where these are handled by a different department in most large companies such as selecting ingredients, mashing process, fermentation management, packaging, shipping, sales, working at beer events, and so on.
Moreover, you may learn about the craft beer industry including major distributors and events and gain know-how to grow your career. If you want to pursue your career as a brewer, you may be able to brew your own beer in the future.
