説明


Job Description:
・ To ensure customer demand is fulfilled in full and on time
・ To be the initial point of contact for and operate effective supplier relationships with the external supply chain
・ To avoid, reduce, or mitigate risk in delivering the right parts to the customer
・ To be ERP process and system compliant

Responsibilities:
・ To respond to demand changes by providing the SMTM (Supplier Mgmt Team Manager) with the implications of meeting customer requirements in line with the company Commitment Acceptance (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
・ To ensure the maintenance of component planning data (e.g. Master (lead time) and dynamic data (transactional)) that will enable cascade of demand through the supply chain resulting in a committed plan.
・ To plan and manage stock across the supply chain ensuring levels specified are maintained and is used in the appropriate order and time frame.
・ To ensure specified supplier delivery commitments are reflected in SAP, respond to supplier enquiries and manage adherence of schedule lines and Exception Messages to ensure delivery to plan, including new parts introduction in line with all the relevant processes including use of the Supply Chain proforma.
・ To be process compliant through the use of company standard systems, processes and reports to resolve potential delivery hazards.
・ To be the primary interface and lead operational relationships with suppliers to lead and co-ordinate all improvement activity associated with planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time.
・ To lead business reviews with their suppliers ensuring that both the suppliers and company requirements are being met considering the impact of Quality, total cost and Delivery on the SMT. To ensure these reviews are supported by other appropriate functions as required.
・ To ensure paperwork and information transfer in relation to all part movements is compliant with business and regulatory requirements.
・ Ensure resolution of unverified invoice queries relating to schedule changes and goods receipt and liaise with buyer to ensure resolution of any price blocked invoices.
・ Manage new product introduction (as agreed with the Incorporation of New Product team) including contracted supplier logistical obligations and resolution of any programme delivery issues / risks.
・ To provide input to Product Change Board (PCB) meetings affecting parts assigned to ensure design decisions are made based on an accurate analysis of supply chain.
・ To Support the Supply Chain Designer through the Production Readiness process as a single point of contact with a supplier and coordinate meeting schedules with assigned suppliers.
・ To manage and coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan. Manage the impact and escalate issues as required.
・ As part of the Business reviews understand Load and Capacity constraints within a supplier that may impact performance and delivery.
・ Support the Master scheduler through SORB process to obtain Commitment Acceptance with suppliers for their part number portfolio.
・ When required accountable for working across the various functions to ensure consistent and clear supplier communications and responsible for co-ordinating with senior visits.


Qualifications
A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is required and programme management experience is an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a supply chain background and experience of working within the supply chain. They will be able to demonstrate:
・ Good understanding of planning and control processes, capacity planning, coupled with logistics knowledge
・ Experience in SAP Production Module a distinct advantage
・ Self-motivation and the ability to self-start,
・ Proven ability to influence across company boundaries through collaborative team work
・ Excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss issues with all level of business, both within Inside Company and outside.
・ Japanese language skills is desirable, although not compulsory
・ Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working.
・ Understands and operates Supplier Relationship Management
・ Shop floor management experience a huge advantage
