《Job description》
① Oversee and manage international partnerships with KGU’s partner institutions, including, but not limited to the following:
a establishing/renewing/negotiating international partnerships
b working on agreement documents
c managing exchange balances
d hosting partner visits
e delivering smooth communication both within KGU and with partner institutions
f attending international conferences
g visiting partner institutions
② Translation/interpretation between English and Japanese
③ Other tasks as directed by the Administrative Head of the Organization for Worldwide Collaboration

《Skills and experience》
Essential:
① English: native/bilingual proficiency
② Japanese: business fluent proficiency (JLPT N1 is recommended.)
③ Flexibility to travel overseas to attend international conferences and/or visit partner institutions several times annually for up to approximately 14 days each
④ Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
⑤ Professional work experience in a bilingual environment for 3 years

Desirable:
① Professional work experience in higher education international offices or similar workplace

《General working hours》
Weekdays 8:50-16:50
Saturdays 8:50-12:20
Saturdays are applicable to a designated number of ‘Kwansei Gakuin bi-weekly Saturday leave scheme’ days
*Paid overtime beyond the above-mentioned general working hours may be required *Average overtime is approximately 10-20 hours/month

《Holidays》
Sundays, Public/National Holidays according to the Japanese calendar, Summer Vacation (13 Aug-21 Aug), Foundation Day (28 Sep), Christmas Day (25 Dec), Winter Vacation (26 Dec-5 Jan)
*Annual paid leave will be 10 days total for the first year, and will increase accordingly depending on renewal
*Additionally, employees are entitled to a 9 day ”Summer Holiday” during the designated term.
*If required to work during any of the above designated holidays, you will be entitled to compensatory leave according to Kwansei Gakuin's Regulations

《Benefits》
Base monthly salary JPY300,000 (no pay raise, inclusive of the Life Design Allowance under the defined contribution plans)
Commute expenses will be covered according to Kwansei Gakuin's Regulations

2.雇用期間
  2024年4月1日~2025年3月31日
  (翌年度以降、1年毎の雇用契約とし、最長2029年3月31日まで更新の可能性あり。ただし、採用日の6カ月前から採用日までに、学校法人関西学院に雇用されている方又は雇用されていた方には「有期労働契約における契約年限に関する規程」が適用され、任期が制限される場合があります。)

  西宮上ケ原キャンパス

4.職務内容
  (1)海外の大学・機関等との協定に関する業務
    (新規協定校の開拓、協定締結・更新の交渉、協定書の作成に係る業務、協定バランスの維持調整業務、海外大学からの来客対応、海外・学内の連絡調整に関する業務、国際会議への参加、海外大学への訪問)
  (2)英語・日本語の翻訳、通訳業務
  (3)その他国際連携機構事務部長の指示による業務

5.応募資格
  (1)英語を母語とする方もしくは同等の英語運用能力を有する方
  (2)口頭及び文書(メール含む)で業務上の交渉ができる程度の日本語運用能力を有する方
  (3)海外出張が可能な方(年間数回程度を想定)
  (4)Word, ExcelなどMSオフィスソフトの知識、技能を有する方
  (5)日本語と英語を用いて企業・団体・その他の機関等で3年以上の勤務経験を有する方
    大学における国際交流関係業務の経験があればさらに望ましい

6.勤務時間
  原則 平日 8:50~16:50(実働7時間)
      土曜 8:50~12:20(実働3.5時間)
  *隔週土曜休暇制度あり(業務のない土曜日は一定限度まで休暇取得が可能)、 超過勤務あり

7.休日・休暇
  日曜、祝日、夏期休暇(8/13~8/21)、創立記念日(9/28)、
  降誕祭(12/25)、年末年始休暇(12/26~翌年1/5) 
  *休日出勤を命じることがある

8.給与及びライフデザイン手当
  月額:300,000円(昇給なし・確定拠出年金規程に定めるライフデザイン手当含む)
  賞与:初年度支給なし(更新回数に応じて支給あり)
  交通費は規定により支給

9.社会保険
  私学事業団(私学共済制度)、雇用保険加入
  確定拠出年金制度あり

10.採用面接
   書類選考の上、面接対象者の方にのみ時間・場所等をご連絡いたします。面接日は2024年3月14日(木)を予定しています。

11.その他
