Expected Roles:
A) Consultant roles:
- Provide career consulting session to registered users (mostly foreign international students and also mid-career professionals), in English
- Introduce jobs that match candidates’ profile and expectations.
- Prepare recommendations ensuring quality
- Communicate with candidates in timely fashion concerning interviews with companies, schedules, via email and phone
- Record information on timely and accurate manner, using our internal data base system.
B) Marketing roles:
- Research and analysis of competitor sites
- Recommendations for new content creation
- Measurement and performance reporting
- Responsible for the successful “integration” of social media as related to the overarching SEO strategy.
- Provide consultation and support on all aspects of SEO
- Identify opportunities for content repurposing for multi-channel marketing efforts. 
- Establish our web presence and maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
- Liaise with Marketing, and Events development teams to ensure brand consistency
- Monitor ROI and KPIs
- Stay up-to-date with digital media developments

C) Additional role:
- Support the team with periodic events (e.g. IT events for foreigners looking for jobs in Japan).

Requirements:
Core ones:
- Passion in human resource/human capital field; or at least serious (proven) intention to build expertise in this field.
- Great communication skills (be able to interact smoothly with Japanese and foreign people)
- Native level in English or at least fluent
- Proficient with computers (familiarly with Mac); Ability to use Excel.
- Passion for making positive change in people’s life by providing guidance.
- Proven ability to set priorities and be able to focus on important tasks.
- Proven ability to delegate tasks (e.g. to career consultant support staff).
- Strong understanding of major search engines and gaining clients through digital marketing efforts.
- Experience in comparing data and analyze tactics to maximize results
- Working experience with company websites.
- Experience/Knowledge in Digital marketing:
• Experience with visual communication principles
• Familiarity with web design and content management systems
• An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred ones:
- Working experience in the HR field
- Good knowledge of the Japanese job market, industries and career trends
- Commitment to work for the company for a long time
- Some Japanese language ability
- Residing in the Tokyo area.

Expected starting date: in two months’ time at the latest.

Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Flexible work hour core working hours from 10:00~17:00, 8 hours (plus one hour break time) a day, and after probation period, possibility for remote work once a week.
- Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, paid leaves, sick-paid leaves, ceremonial paid leaves, end of the year holidays, and additional 2 paid leaves if all paid leaves are taken (to encourage rest and good energy re-charging in our team members).
- 3-month trial period.
- Monthly salary (basic):
1-3 work experience: 24-26 man JPY
4 years or above: 27-30 man JPY
Based on your experience, plus incentives in the shape of ~3% of our company sales from each successful match you help to secure, to be paid every in parts during the fiscal year. Then, your expected annual salary is between 3.5 million JPY to 5.5 million JPY.
- If you reside in walking distance from our office, your will received ¥ 30,000 per month as allowance.
- Transportation cost: covered up to ¥ 30,000 per month.

Application process
Apply “here” attaching your updated English CV, and 1-page motivation letter (English). We will make a 5-minute call to promising candidates and eventually will invite for a face to face interview with various team members. There might be 1-day internship as the final step (to make sure there is mutual cultural/corporate fit). We will deliver the results in around 2 weeks.

Our working environment:
- We started in May 2013 with a really small team and small office. Thanks to our team’s passion in this field, we have tripled in team size and space and we are becoming a reference for foreigners not only in Japan, but also overseas.
- English and Japanese are the official languages but during interviews with students, other languages, such as Spanish, are also used/combined.

- Although all team members have their own working space, they also move around using various premises, including standing desks.
-We want to be a role model for other Japanese companies in terms of inclusivity and flexible work environment. We have flexible work hours, remote work environment, and give autonomy to each employee for their roles.
