Description

Site Supervisor (POL Fuel Tank Projects)

Responsible for fuel tank repair projects quality control and field level activities including site management, oversight of skilled labor and/or subcontractor management, logistics, schedules and report preparation
Knowledgeable of potential safety and health hazards associated with project activities
Maintain up to date field records including daily progress reports, progress schedule, meeting documents, shop drawings, test reports, as-built records and other documents necessary to document field activities
Coordinate the preparation of required interim and final deliverables for projects
Coordinate technical activities with other professionals and field personnel
Provide technical supervision and assistance to insure project activities are technically valid.
Oversee all technical activities in an efficient manner to ensure that the project requirements and deadlines are met
Coordinate with other professionals and field personnel to accomplish the efficient and smooth implementation of project
Prepare deficiency and non-conformance documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actions

Skills / Qualifications
Two years of field experience working on DoD POL systems or fuel storage tanks
Five years of DoD construction-related management experience
Knowledge and experience with POL industry standards such as API 653
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prepare reports
Microsoft Office skills
The ability to work on US DoD facilities
