Localization Tester for Games

1 year contract
Location: Tokyo

Responsibilities

This is a position in the QA team for localization projects. You will work on QA tasks, translate test instructions from English to Japanese and vice versa, and manage bugs to support the finished product.
Other tasks include:
- Create a game testing database (Excel)
- Review and revise scripts and text dialogue
- Check audio files
- Answer questions from outsourced test vendors in English

Required skills

Native Japanese level (including reading and writing)
Basic PC skills (Word, Excel formulas)
Good communication skills to coordinate with external teams and departments
Proactive attitude to learn and improve in this job

Desired skills

Experience or knowledge of QA testing and localization
Cultural awareness of Japan and English-speaking countries
Good business manners
