Overseas sales manager required for wholly owned and operated Japanese company. Primary role is to support USA office located in California by receiving and processing purchase orders. Secondary role is to support existing global network of dealers, resellers and and general customers located in Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Norway, the U.K, Caribbean etc.
Other responsibilities include:
* Responding to customer inquiry emails
* Taking orders from customers
* Managing payments using PayPal and TT transfer
* Organizing shipping using EMS, SAL, DHL etc.
All communications with overseas clients are in English via email. Communications within the company requires Japanese however there are also English speaking staff.
Position requires strong organizational skills, high level of customer focus and a desire to grow company export sales revenue. Knowledge of car audio, Japanese cars (Toyota, Nissan) and car electronics is highly regarded. Basic computer skills using Japanese windows OS, excel, word etc. required. Mail client is Mozilla Thunderbird.
This position is ideally suited to persons with an interest in cars and motor vehicle technology. Applicants should be comfortable working in a Japanese open office environment and be able to work alongside Japanese sales staff and engineers.
Remuneration includes base salary, resident taxes, health insurance, pension payments etc. Bonuses payed 3 times annually equivalent to 5 months base salary.
Office located 25 minute walk from Nisshin station on the Meitetsu Toyota Line.
Staff car park also available.
Hours are from 8:45am to 6pm Mon-Fri with no overtime required or expected.
Probationary period is the standard 3 months.
Days off include all national holidays however occasional Saturday work is required.
