Description

Downhome is an American restaurant located in Setagaya and serves truly authentic American dishes and home-made desserts.

・Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
・Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
・Food Preparations for all menu items
・Cook food in a timely manner
・Ensure appealing plate presentation
・Assist head chefs as needed
・Monitor food stock and report to purchasing
・Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
・Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
・Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
・Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
・Assisting the Executive Chefs in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
・Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
・Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
・Assist in cleaning of kitchen and restaurant as requested
・Additional restaurant related works will be requested
