Our company’s executive team and Board of Directors have decades of technical and business experience and a proven track record of growing companies from grassroots exploration through to production. The Company's team includes geologists and advisors with experience exploring and operating in Japan.

[About the Role]
Japan Gold is currently seeking a Logistics Officer to join our team.
Reporting to the Geology Manager; you will be responsible for assisting and supporting field teams to establish smooth operational activities.

The position will be based close to current exploration activities in several locations throughout Hokkaido, Honshu and Kyushu, depending on activity focus and the time of year. Work will be on a rotation cycle to be discussed with the potential applicant with a daily schedule from 8am to 5pm. Some activities might be on a different schedule and some flexibility is expected depending on activities.

[Key Responsibilities:]
• Assist with exploration programs throughout Japan
• Set up of exploration offices and support of field teams to ensure smooth operation of field programs.
• Management and co-ordination of transport and liaise with local community and contractors / consultants.
• Facilitate transport of company personnel
• Facilitate shipment of samples
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes

[Key Requirements]
• Japanese Business Level to deal with Local vendors, clients, and community
• Logistics experience in Japan
• Willingness to build a career in a fast growing company
• Willingness to be flexible and support field teams in field activity
• Some experience with book keeping and cash management, and Microsoft XL
• Demonstrated ability to work in remote locations
• Valid working VISA is a MUST
