Part-Time English Instructor for face-to-face lessons - Tokyo & surrounding area（期限切れ）

As we expect that more face-to-face lessons will be coming back in the new year, Berkeley House is seeking skilled and experienced English instructors for both business corporate lessons and traditional school setting classes to conduct courses to strengthen the practical English communication skills of present and future professionals.

Requirement:
 Minimum of 3 years ESL and/or business English teaching experience in Japan
 University degree
 Near Native English speaker
 Currently reside in Japan
 Valid Work Visa

Preference:
 Teaching certificate preferred (CELTA, TESOL, etc.)
 Experience instructing test preparation courses (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, EIKEN, GMAT, AP GCSE, TEAP, etc.)
 Proficiency in Japanese
 Flexibility to teach online and face-to-face

 Berkeley House Language Center - Ichigaya, Tokyo
 Our client's venues such as Ueno, Omori, Shin-kawasaki, Mejiro, Higashi-nakano, Omiya, Fukaya, Kisarazu, etc

Course Types:
 Business English
 Academic English
 Test Preparation (IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC/EIKEN, etc.)

Schedule:
Varies with position

* Especially daytime between 9am and 6pm on weekdays is needed!!
* New terms begins from March/April in 2025

Class Format:
Private and/or Group

Salary Example:
Hourly Courses: 3,000 yen per hour
Full-day Courses: 12,000 JPY ~ 15,000 per day (depending on teaching hours)
Depends on the experience/ability of the teacher and the specification of the class
Transportation fees are fully reimbursed.
