PT Teacher（期限切れ）

The Osaka YMCA International High School (IHS) is a senior high school servicing grades 1, 2, 3 in the heart of Osaka, Japan. The school is looking for a PT teacher to fill some or all of 15 lessons for the start of the April 2025 school year.

All lessons will be conducted in English. Subjects to be taught are English language-based (Communication, Writing, Grammar, etc) but more subjects may be available depending on applicant experience and work history.

Job Description:
・Conduct a 50min lesson
・Manage the classroom for a safe and conducive learning environment
・Evaluate student performance according to school guidelines
・Create and conduct mid-term/term-end examinations
・Complete all other tasks as assigned by the school

Lesson are conducted Mon-Fri as follows: 9:00-9:50(pd.1), 10:00-10:50(pd.2), 11:00-11:50(pd.3), 12:50-13:40(pd.4), 13:50-14:40(pd.5), 14:50-15:40(pd.6), 15:50-16:40(pd.7)

Requirements:
・Applicants must have a valid working visa that is not set to expire within the next 12 months.
・Applicants must have health insurance
・Applicants must be able to fulfill at least one full academic semester (Apr 2025-Sept 2025)

・Preference will be for those candidates who can fill more/all of the available classes.
