About the Role
Join Tomogo!, a new app designed to connect tour guides with travelers, offering a flexible and lucrative part-time opportunity. Think of it as Uber Eats, but for guided tours! You’ll have the freedom to create your own schedule and select tours that fit your expertise. This is the perfect side job for those who love sharing their knowledge about Japan and meeting people from all over the world.

How It Works
Set Your Own Schedule: Choose when you’re available to guide tours.
Pick Your Tours: Select tours you’re passionate about and match them with your availability.
Earnings Potential: Earn a base rate of ¥1,800 per hour per person. For example, guiding a group of 4 people on a 3-hour tour can net you ¥21,600 (¥1,800 x 4 people x 3 hours)!
Job Requirements
Must have a valid visa and be legally able to work in Japan.
Japanese nationals are welcome to apply.
A Japanese bank account is required for payment.
Ability to communicate effectively in your native language.
Basic understanding of Japanese language and culture is preferred.
A passion for guiding and a love for sharing your knowledge of Japan.

Important: All applicants must attend an in-person seminar (location to be disclosed upon application). During this seminar, we will cover:

An overview of the Tomogo! app.
Guidelines for being a successful Tomogo! leader.
Do’s and don’ts of tour guiding.
Visa verification and account setup.
Note: You will need to show proof of your visa during the seminar.
