NSR is a professional staffing agency specializing in servicing the Aerospace and Automotive
industries. We are current looking for a motivated and globally minded Sales Engineer for one
of our Clients. Our Client is a large international manufacturer of components and systems for
automation in the Automotive industry.
Nagoya, Japan (flexible)
The Sales Engineer will travel to client locations across Japan. Most locations will be between Kanto,
Kansai, and Chubu area. Some travel to South-East Asia will be required when normal international
travel resumes. The Sales Engineer will visit clients several times a week to provide pre-sales
demonstrations and product education, and after-sales support services.
The Sales Engineer should come from an engineering background and be prepared to travel up to
about 60% of the work time. The Sale Engineer should be comfortable talking to different functional
departments such as R&D, planning, maintenance, tooling, and production.
This position requires strong knowledge of spot welding and aluminum welding process for body-
in-white production for automotive vehicles.
・ Degree in Engineering or related field
・ Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
・ Knowledge of spot welding and aluminum welding
・ Native level Japanese
・ Ability and readiness to travel
・ Experience with technical sales
