Custom Media is an award-winning, bilingual, digital content-creation and communication agency in Tokyo.

We seek enthusiastic, ambitious, experienced and motivated sales account managers to join our dynamic and growing advertising team.

Working at Custom Media you will be interacting with some of the largest multinational corporations in Japan on a daily basis. As publishers and exclusive advertising partners for the American Chamber of Commerce, British Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Tokyo American Club, in this role, you would be interacting with their members who are senior decision makers in their organizations.

Job Description
Sell advertising space for the Tokyo American Club, American and British & Canadian chambers of commerce magazines and digital media
Proactively contact existing and new clients
Develop new business strategies and services to meet client’s needs
Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services
Ensure monthly and quarterly sales targets are met
Attend and contribute to weekly sales meetings
Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors Degree, fluent in English
Minimum two years proven sales experience
Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets
Must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious
Ability to identify new business and marketing opportunities
Comfortable meeting with and selling to key decision-makers
Commercially astute with solutions sales approach rather than product-based approach
