Part-time English Teacher [Kindergarten/Eikaiwa]

Unitas Foreign Language Academy is an affiliate of Teikyo University and has a history of English and Japanese language learning services of 55 years. We are the premier English conversation school in Yamanashi prefecture. Unitas' main office and branches are located in Kofu City and the surrounding basin, with a main satellite branch in Fujiyoshida and 5 other branches throughout the prefecture, as well as a university-integrated branch in Hachioji.

We are currently looking for professional teachers for Eikaiwa and Kindergarten part-time positions.

PART-TIME positions include:

Successful applicants will possess the following:

- Native English level skills
- A Bachelors degree (or higher)
- A desire to excel at teaching English in Japan (Candidates with experience preferred)
- The ability to drive in Japan either with an International or a Japanese driver's license

JOB OVERVIEW:

[CONVERSATION ] Part-time (April 2025)

- Teach elementary aged children, Junior High/High school as well as adults
- Business classes off-site
- Small classes from 2 - 8 students, or 1-on-1 private lessons
- Flexible schedules available for part-timers
- Conversation classes mainly from 16:30 - 21:00

[KINDERGARTEN] Part-time (April 2025)

- Class groups from 8 - 30 kids
- Take responsibility for kindergarten classes for at least 1-2 years
- Teaching 3-4 short classes at each kindergarten once a week
- Classes mainly in mornings and up to 14:00
- Afternoon English club classes available up to 17:50
- Sing and dance young childrens' songs
