Description

WING is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Semi-Full Time English Teacher for a Private Kindergarten in Chiba City.

Position Details:
Contract Type: Semi-full time
Contract Period: April 2025 – March 2026 (1-year contract, renewable based on performance)
Closest Stations: Inage Station (JR Sobu Line), Anagawa Station (Chiba Monorail)

Job Responsibilities:
Teach engaging English lessons using a designated curriculum.
Interact with kindergarten~elementary students through play and structured activities.
Prepare materials, set up the classroom, and assist with cleanup.

Salary:
Monthly Salary: ¥130,000 (including perfect attendance allowance)
Transportation: Fully reimbursed

Work Schedule:
3 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday OR Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Total Workdays: Approximately 140–150 days per year, depending on the school’s annual calendar (with occasional on-call work)
Daily Working Hours: 5 hours (13:40–18:40)

Example of Daily Schedule:
13:40 – Arrival & lesson preparation
14:40 – 15:10 (or 15:20 – 15:50) – Kindergarten after-school program
16:10 – 17:10 – Elementary school class 1
17:20 – 18:20 – Elementary school class 2
18:40 – Cleanup & dismissal
On non-teaching days, teachers will assist with lesson preparation and engage in playtime with children.

Requirements:
Native English speaker
Basic Japanese ability preferred; conversational level is a plus
Passionate about working with children
Able to sing and dance with children
Experience in a preschool, nursery, or kindergarten setting in Japan is a plus
Commitment to completing the full contract term (April 2025 – March 2026)
Open-minded, friendly, and a team player
Punctual and reliable
Able to adapt to designated teaching methods based on training
Visa sponsorship is available for candidates willing to work at another location as a Full-time employee
