Public Daycare English teacher in the Tokyo/Chiba area.
We are a fun and welcoming public daycare school in the Tokyo/Chiba area and are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Native English-Speaking Teacher to join our team! We are searching for 4 teachers in a new initiative with Our schools located near Ichikawa Station (3 locations) and Gyotoku Station (1 location). If you love working with young children and have a positive, playful attitude, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview: As a teacher at our daycare, you will be responsible for teaching English lessons, engaging with children in fun and interactive activities, and helping with general childcare. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both the children and your fellow teachers. Whether it's playing games, going on walks, or simply having fun, you will be an integral part of creating a joyful learning environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach English lessons in a fun, engaging, and interactive way.
• Help with general childcare tasks such as mealtime, nap time, and basic hygiene.
• Provide daily care and supervision to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Play games, sing songs, dance, do art and craft and use music skills to facilitate creative activities to promote language and social development.
• Go on walks and participate in outdoor activities with the children.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
• Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
Qualifications:
• Native English speaker.
• Must be reliable, patient, and kind.
• At least 1 year of previous experience teaching young children (preferably in a daycare or early education setting).
• A positive attitude and a love for working with children.
• Ability to adapt to a fun and energetic work environment.
• TESOL certification (preferred) and Kosodate Shien License (preferred).
• Basic Japanese language ability (conversational level and understanding of Japanese workplaces).
Salary & Benefits:
• Monthly salary: ¥280,000 - ¥300,000 (depending on experience).
• Travel allowance provided (up to ¥15,000).
• Visa Sponsorship.
• 8-hour workdays with a 1-hour break.
• Monday to Friday work schedule, typically between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Reduced working hours/ Part time (6 hours a day) available. (Pay would reflect reduced work time)
