Position overview:
MUSASHI Japan is known for their high-quality knives, exceptional service and hospitality.
We are seeking members who can actively engage with customers visiting our stores and provide them with a unique and memorable shopping experience
Working Conditions:
- Flexible working hours, with a minimum of 4 hours per day
*Staff working 6 hours or more are entitled to a 45-minute break; those working 8 hours or more receive a 60-minute break.

Compensation / Benefits :
Transportation expenses provided (up to 20'000 yen per month)
Salary increase available: After training, the hourly wage ranges from 1,300 to 1,500 Yen, based on your knowledge of knives and overall contribution.

Job details:
- Engage with customers, catering to their needs and ensuring excellent service
- Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
- Support tax-refund sales procedures
- Interpretation support between foreign customers and staffs
- Product replenishment and inventory management
- Providing customer service and share product knowledge
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Fluent or Native English Speaker
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills, strong customer service abilities and cultural sensitivity
- An interest in Japanese culture and eagerness to learn more
- Priority will be given to those with Japanese language skills or proficiency in other languages
Welcomed Skills
- Experience in sales
- Experience with knives and sharpening techniques
- Culinary background or skills
Hiring procedure:

3. On-site interview
A face-to-face interview will be held
4. Final Selection (Trial Shift)
A trial shift will be held in one of the stores. (Trial periods are fully compensated)
*please note that you may have your trial shift after your second interview
