Client Company Overview:
We are working with a leading global IT services provider with 17 locations in Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, and the United States, employing over 10,000 people. The company has a branch in Japan and works with a number of domestic and global IT companies.

Types of Positions Offered:

SALES ENGINEERS
The role involves gathering information about how customers (both new and existing) are planning to develop their current and new business operations. This includes assessing whether improvements to their existing systems can meet their needs or if a new system needs to be developed.

Key tasks include:
-Conducting detailed hearings to understand the specific needs of customers, such as the scope of system implementation, system requirements, industry trends, operational start dates, development budgets, and project teams.
-Planning and proposing system solutions that address customer challenges. This includes suggesting system implementation methods, estimated development costs, timelines, development teams, and cost-effectiveness.
-Refining proposals through multiple iterations to clarify customer concerns and uncertainties, solidifying proposal details while building trust with the customer.
-Providing detailed estimates (development costs, schedule, quality objectives, deadlines, etc.). Once the customer agrees, the order is confirmed, and a contract is signed.


PROJECT MANAGERS
The Project Manager plays a critical role in determining the success or failure of a development project. Given the significance of this role, the PM is granted various decision-making authorities related to project execution.

Key responsibilities:
- Managing the project and its members rather than directly building the system.
- Negotiating with customers, adjusting deadlines, and leading discussions.
- Handling unexpected issues and troubleshooting as they arise.
- Overseeing engineering and programming processes.
- Monitoring team morale and ensuring smooth project progression.


PROJECT LEADERS
For smaller projects, a PL may not be assigned. However, for medium to large-scale projects, a PL is necessary to manage the increasing complexity and number of members.

Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the PM, primarily focusing on internal project management.
- Ensuring that strict adherence to project timelines does not compromise code quality.
- Facilitating smooth communication between different teams and departments.
- Understanding system specifications thoroughly while also managing the development team.


SYSTEM ENGINEERS
System Engineers (SEs) are core members of the development team, with tasks assigned based on project requirements.

Key responsibilities:
-Determining requirements and defining system specifications through meetings with clients.
-Mainly working on upstream processes, such as planning and designing the system.
-In many cases, also taking on the role of a Programmer (SE/PG) and handling coding alongside their primary responsibilities.
-Working proactively rather than passively executing assigned tasks, ensuring project success as a cohesive team effort.
-Maintaining a strong focus on both process adherence and product quality.

PROGRAMMERS
Programmers (PGs) play a crucial role in system development by translating SE-prepared specifications into code and conducting unit testing.

Key responsibilities:
- Writing code based on detailed system specifications provided by SEs.
- Conducting unit tests to ensure the correctness of the code.
