English Instructor (expired)

We are an English teaching company that specializes in providing English personal trainers for employees working in the construction and real estate industries. We are currently looking to hire a few full-time English personal trainers.

PERSONAL TRAINER’S ROLE:
You are expected not only to teach, but also to motivate students through one year English training program.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
・Able to teach on-line(using zoom)
・Experienced and professional
・In-depth knowledge of English grammar, phonics, TOEIC
・Excellent communication and people skills
・Able to operate a computer and know how to use Outlook, Excel, Zoom
・Organizational skills are a must.
・Eagerness to teach and help students achieve their goals
・Willingness to learn, especially about construction, architecture, real estate, etc.
(most of our students work in these fields.)

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
・Understanding the student’s goal and combining it with the target language
・Providing high-quality, level-appropriate, goal-oriented lessons including phonics, grammar, business English, and TOEIC
・Creating a welcoming environment for students to actively communicate
・Ensuring the customer’s experience with us meets or exceeds their expectations
・Proactively communicating with team members regarding customer progress, strengths and challenges, and program/lesson material recommendations

We do not accept applications from those with a Working Holiday, Student, or Tourist Visa.

WORK SCHEDULE:
As our students are busy professionals, most classes are in the evenings from 18:00 PM - 21:00 PM, or on Saturdays. Applicants are invited to work four weekdays and one Saturday. Applicants are expected to work five days a week.
3 to 6 lessons a day. The rest of time spent checking HW, preparing for lessons, answering students’ questions, making students' feedback, checking their attendance, making materials, etc.

Need to come to our office (Minami Aoyama, Tokyo)2~3 days a week
All the lessons are done on-line(either from your home or from our office)

TYPES OF ONLINE LESSONS:
Private Lessons: 50-minute private lesson
Group Lessons: 50-minute group lesson (3~4 students in a group)

PAYMENT:
¥280,000~¥350,000/ monthly salary
