Harbourfront International School has an immediate opening for Full-Time Instructors in our Preschool.

As the number of students at our school are rapidly growing, We are currently seeking for a friendly, enthusiastic, professionally minded native-English speaking instructor, who is motivated and fun. Applicants should be organized and responsible, experienced in working in a team environment, open to challenges and invested in the development of the students. He/she should have a passion for the education of young children and the learning of English as a second language in the immersion English program.

Harbourfront International School established its Preschool in Honmachi, Osaka in October 2022. The school is conveniently located within a 3-minute walk of Honmachi Station.

[Job Title]
Nursery Instructor [students ages between 1 - 5

[Job duties]
-General class instructor responsibilities (planning classes and creating document)
-Creation of a safe, engaging and supportive English learning environment
-Engagement and support of parents/caregivers
-Events initiatives- planning, and implementation
-Understanding and implementation of childcare that supports the ongoing development and needs of all children in their care
-Programming class, Physical Education class teaching experiences are welcome
-Any other duty that the school owners assigned

[Job requirements]
-Must currently reside in Japan
-Preschool/Kindergarten experience is a must (at leaset one year)
-Teaching qualifications(certificate/license) highly regarded but not essential
-Visa sponsorship is available [however, a University degree is necessary for this purpose]

[Work environment]
-8 hour days on a Monday to Friday(Occasional weekends-for events)with one hour break
-125 days off throughout the year (with holiday periods at Golden Week and Christmas/New Year) to create a healthy work-life balance, we are looking for a new member for our growing team

[Salary]
-Full-time staff - Monthly salary between ¥240,000 to ¥300,000 [dependent on experience]
