Part Time English Native Instructors

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill various part-time teaching positions starting in April 2025.

Candidates must …
currently reside in Japan.
hold a current valid working visa.
have a native level of English.
have at least three years of English language teaching experience.
have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
be available to work from April 2025 to March 2026.

Duties include …
planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
preparing and marking homework.
participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

(1)Dispatch Kindergarten Class (F)
Time: Fridays ①10:10-12:00　②10:10-11:40
（Time slots ① and ② are interchanged during the course of the fiscal year.)
Contract length: 29 days from April 2025 to March 2026
Compensation: ①¥7,000/day　②¥6,300/day
Location: Takatsuki, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years.

(2) Saturday International Kids Program: Kinder (S)
Time: Saturdays 08:30-15:30
Contract length: 38 days from April 2025 to March 2026
Compensation: ¥19,000/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

(3) Saturday International Kids Program: Elementary (S)
Time: Saturdays 08:30-15:30
Contract length: 38 days from April 2025 to March 2026
Compensation: ¥19,000/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics/reading, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

(4) Saturday Kinder Morning (S)
Time: Saturdays 9:55-13:05
Contract length: 38 days from April 2025 to March 2026
Compensation: ¥11,000/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

(5) Weeknight International Kids Program: Kinder and Elementary (TU/W/TH)
Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 15:20-18:30 16:20-19:30 16:50-20:00
Contract length: 38 days from April 2025 to March 2026
Compensation: ¥11,000/lesson plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji and Tosabori
Description:
Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years.
Part-time native English teacher for beginner to high-level returnees/international school attendees aged 6-12 years.
Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

(6)Elementary Children’s Class (TU/F)　
Time: Tuesdays or Fridays 17:10-18:10
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥5,600/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Two 30-minute general English lessons a day.

(7)Dispatch Elementary Class (S)
Time: Saturdays 8:30-16:30
Contract length: 30 days from April 2025 to March 2026
Compensation: ¥25,375/day plus transportation
Location: Tezukayama, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years.

(8) IYP (Junior & Senior High School Class)(S)
Time: Saturdays, 16:30-18:00
Contract Period: April 2025 ~ March 2026 (38 lessons total)
Compensation: 6,300 yen per lesson (plus transport costs)
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji

(9)Dispatch Kinder & Elementary Classes(Thu)
Time: Thursdays, 15:30-16:20, 16:40-17:30
Contract Period: April 2025 ~ March 2026 (41 weeks total)
Compensation: 14,000 yen per week (plus transport costs)
Location: Toyonaka City, Momoyamadai

(10)Dispatch Elementary & Junior High Classes(One day per week)
Time: One of the days in a week(will be decided), 16:00-16:50, 17:10-18:00
Contract Period: April 2025 ~ March 2026 (35 weeks total)
Compensation: 12,000 yen per week (plus transport costs)
Location: Izumi City, 20min bus ride from Izumi Chuo Station(Senboku Kosoku(Nankai) Line)
