Instructor for Hybrid Diploma Program (Gifu/Nagoya) (expired)

Clematis International Kindergarten is looking for an instructor to help us with a new and exciting program! We are joining with schools in the United States and England to offer international diplomas for students of all ages. Instructors of this program will oversee online lessons with the partner school abroad, as well as tutor the participating students in-person. These lessons (both online and in-person) will be done in all English. This program will offer international diplomas for elementary school, junior high, and high school students, as well as kindergarteners.

This position is available for both our Tokushige Nagoya branch or our main branch in Gifu, depending on the chosen candidate.

Successful candidates should be knowledgeable about a variety of subjects (science, math, social studies, etc.) and should be able to to transmit this knowledge to students in a fun, easy to understand manner. They should be passionate, energetic, and creative. We encourage teachers to share their ideas and try new things.

We are open to candidates starting when available, between January and April.

Working Conditions:
Instructors will work on average 5 days a week (8:30-17:30 including a one-hour break), with two days off.


Pay:
The salary for full-time employees will be between ￥250,000 - 330,000/month, based on experience and ability.

Interview Process:
We will conduct initial interviews online, on Zoom, to explain more about the position and to get to know selected candidates. Candidates who pass the initial interview will be asked to an in person interview at the school.
