We're looking to expand our sales team to reach out to companies domestically and abroad to advertise on our various websites.
We are seeking an experienced sales person to join our existing team as we expand our footprint in the market.
You'll be working as part of an international team dedicated to supporting the international community here in Japan by bringing together companies from all over the world with products and services our community wants to see.
As a senior member of the team you will be working closely with management to build your sales pipeline in new areas proposing and closing new deals that may not always rely on existing products or services. We are looking for someone creative who can identify needs in the market, propose products and solutions, negotiate and close deals on a consistent monthly and quarterly basis.
[What You'll Be Doing]
After checking in with the team and providing a brief plan for the day you’ll be responsible for the following KPI:
- Connecting with Clients via email, phone calls and meetings to secure deals
- Sourcing new clients and development of our existing client base
- Managing the sales process from start to finish including follow up
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Communication with Clients in both English and Japanese
- You will report directly to the head of sales to meet monthly and quarterly goals as well as propose new products and services as the team grows
- This is a Senior position so you will be expected to help set and achieve your own goals as well as supporting the team when required.
[Requirements]
- University Graduate and a minimum least 2-3 Years of Sales Experience (Media and SNS focused sales experience is a plus)
- Solid history of proposing and closing deals independently and with a team
- Strong communication abilities in English and Japanese, you should be comfortable pitching products and speaking on the phone in English and Japanese
- The ability to work well in a team setting but also independently manage daily tasks
- Experience closing large deals with particular focus on media advertising and client care
- Experience in Media sales or related positions is a plus, let us know how you can leverage your skills!
