Description:
Wataha Kids School is looking for one qualified professional to join our teaching staff.
Our school provides after-school care for children in elementary and pre school(age 3-12).
We have currently about 40 children under our care.
Kids Duo focuses on creating a foundation of enthusiasm and self-confidence in speaking via interactive games and activities, and provides a safe and secure afterschool English environment where children can acquire valuable English skills.
Kids Duo is a fully immersive English environment at its core, and organizes classes of mixed skill levels and age groups.
Kids Duo has both Native and Bilingual Instructors to teach children the most venerable parts of both English-speaking countries’ cultures as well as Japan’s. Instructors will not only teach English, but also Social Development; instilling valuable life lessons in their students by putting good morals and manners at the heart of all lessons at Kids Duo.
<Role>
■Must be enthusiastic in teaching energetic lessons, and creative in finding new ways to engage students while teaching via a predefined curriculum.
■Must give children interesting and fun experiences.
■Must assist children in their personal development.
■Preparation for lessons, events and creating material for classes
■Follow the Kids Duo framework of lessons, while creatively developing your own personalized and unique approach in teaching
■Daily cleaning, organizing and general up keep of the school after each workday.
■Plan and organize events: Halloween, Christmas, seasonal (Spring, Summer and Winter), Spelling Bees, Speech contests etc.
■Promotional activities
Working hours:
■5-day work week
・Monday-Friday
■9 hours per day including 1 hour break (actual working hours: 8 hours)
■Basic working hours are from 11:00 to 20:00
※Seasonal schools and events will have shifts between 8:30 and 20:30.
Holidays
■Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays
■Company holidays which fall predominantly on the three main holidays in Japan:
・Golden Week
・Obon Week
・End of Year
