Requirements
- English: Business level (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree required (for Teaching Assistant positions)
- Master's degree or higher required (for Lead Instructor positions)
- Study, work, teaching or research experience in the course topic preferred
- Experience teaching to University students preferred
- Must be available in person
Description
Teach one or more of the following courses to American international University students at a University in Shinjuku Tokyo:
1. Business Finance
2. Organizational Behavior
3. Principles of Marketing
Develop course content, assessment, and provide a grade to each student based on given grading criteria. Basic course syllabi is provided. Instructor has the ability to develop daily class content and activities based on the syllabus while incorporating their own content. Class is held entirely in English. Small to average class sizes.
Teaching period: September 16, 2025 – December 6, 2025 (teach dates within this period)
Available Days: Can be based on your availability: Monday - Friday (excluding national holidays)
Class Times: Can be based on your availability between: 9:30 - 18:30
(there are class period breaks and a daily lunch period)
Total class teaching time: 45 hours - each course (spread throughout the above teaching period)
Salary: 330,000 JPY (per course); paid local transportation fees
