Description

HOPPA has many pre-schools located in Shiga and 2 in Kyoto. We are looking for full-time instructors who can teach English to students from 0 to 5 years of age. We are especially looking for teachers who love to work with young children. The younger students may require more personal care, such as accompaniment to the bathroom. Applicants must speak English at a native level, and possess a proper work visa. Your current VISA should have at least 6 months left on it.

Experience is preferred, but we will provide training to those who are enthusiastic about teaching, and determined to provide quality customer service.
We are looking for a cheerful and enthusiastic teacher able to create fun lessons. Japanese is not required but definitely a plus.

HOPPA schools are open Monday to Saturday but provide English lessons only from Monday to Friday so English teachers do not have to work on Saturdays unless there is a special event or training.

*Full-time teaching position on a one year contract, which can be extended each year. However there is the possibility to become a permanent employee after just one year in the company *Depending on performance*
(Permanent contracts are great to obtain if you want to apply for a loan for a house in the future, or want to apply for a permanent residence visa)



PLEASE NOTE:
Only applicants who can speak English at a Native level will be considered.


Qualifications/ Skills: (these are preferable)
・Teacher's license for nursery school, kindergarten ,elementary school or any child care license is preferable.
・Experience working at pre-school, after-school or English conversation school is preferable.


・Min. Salary: ¥220,000 / Max. Salary: ¥240,000 (Opportunity to recieve a raise each year, depending on performance)
・Working Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 18:00 or 8:30 to 17:30 (1H break time included)
・Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays and most public holidays. (118 days) Plus 10 paid public holidays will be granted after working for the company for 6 months.

3. (Shiga) Karasaki/ 9 min walk from JR Karasaki Station
4.(Shiga)Kinugawa/23 minutes walk from Ogotoonsen Station on the JR Kosei Line (It takes 20 minutes by JR from Kyoto Station to Ogotoonsen Station.)*You can commute by car.
5. (Shiga)Omihachiman/26 minutes walk from Omihachiman Station *You can commute by car.
6. (Shiga) Ishibe (car needed)
7. (Shiga) Konan area (car needed)
