British Culture Academy is expanding and looking to hire English teachers for the new school year. We're currently looking to hire full-time and part-time teachers.
●Working area
Our company dispatches our teachers to different Kindergartens in Saitama.
●Morning lessons
While at the kindergarten you would conduct 20 minute lessons with a Japanese teacher. You would teach up to 6 lessons, depending on the Kindergarten. The Lessons are separated between the ages of 3 to 6.
Our morning lessons consists of teaching the alphabet or phonics, numbers, vocabulary and daily conversation. We also use gestures and singing in our lessons. We have special parties for Halloween and Christmas and typically dress up in costumes for those.
Somerimes you would play with kids using English or assist the school teacher as much as possible.
●Afternoon lessons
Our afternoon lessons are 50 minutes and are more in depth than our morning lesson.
You would be paired with a Japanese teacher in the afternoon lesson also.
The afternoon lessons are separated by age groups Kindergarten and Elementary aged students.
Our afternoon lessons consist of teaching the alphabet, phonics, numbers, vocabulary, reading, role play and writing. We also teach with textbooks and workbooks.
The minimum number of kids for afternoon lessons are 5 and the maximum is 15.
●Examples of our daily work for the position include
・teaching and preparing lessons according to the curriculum
・creating fun and exciting experiences for the children by coming up with your own ideas, as well as using the lesson plan
●An example of the positions
・Part-time 〈1 day a week up to 5 days a week〉
9:00am - 12:00pm or 2:00pm - 6:00pm
・Full-time
9:00am - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Actual hours may vary, based on the day and how many classes are being taught.
●Requirements
* Must speak English (~Native level)
* Be willing to work with kids
* Live in Saitama(ex. Omiya, Kuki, Kawaguchi, Kasukabe) or Tokyo
* Able to keep the kids interested in learning English
* Able to commit to a 1 year contract

Step3. Make a contract
Step4. Paid Training with Japanese staff and experienced English teachers
(Full training and support is provided throughout the year.)
