Position: Marketing and Communications Assistant

Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid role with remote work flexibility)

Role Overview:

Untold Japan is seeking a passionate and motivated Marketing and Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our company while honing your skills as a copywriter for social media and enhancing team synergy. Collaborating closely with multicultural teams, you'll experience rapid professional growth and abundant opportunities within our fast-paced, rapidly expanding startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create compelling copy for social media channels, email newsletters, and other marketing materials to engage our audience and promote our brand.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including content planning and coordination.
Support various marketing initiatives and projects aimed at driving company growth and enhancing brand visibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in assisting a new app under development, providing valuable feedback and insights.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with partners to foster strategic collaborations and expand our network.
Expand media outreach efforts within Japan to increase brand awareness and visibility.

Qualifications:

Passion for marketing, communications, and travel, with a strong desire to contribute to the success of a growing startup.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese (Business level proficiency in Japanese preferred).
Ability to coordinate projects effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Understanding of Japanese culture and/or experience in the tourism industry is highly desirable.
Proficiency in social media management and email marketing tools.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Relevant experience and demonstrated skills will also be considered.
