Anchor Studio is a new style English school dedicated to private lessons targeting mainly adult English learners in an academic and professional atmosphere.

We opened our first school in 2018 with modern classrooms in central Tokyo, 2 minutes from Azabu-Juban Station and 3 minutes from Roppongi Hills. Due to strong demand for our services, we opened our second school in 2021 in a brand new station building in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (1 minute from Kasuga Station and Korakuen Station), and our third school in front of Shirokane-Takanawa Station, Minato-ku, Tokyo (1 minute from the station, right in front of Starbucks).

Today we have 18 native instructors (9 females and 9 males from US, UK, Canada, and Australia), and 6 bilingual Japanese instructors. We are ranked No.1 in the google search in Azabujuban, Shirokane-takanawa and Bunkyo-ku, and please refer to our website and Facebook pages for further information. Now we are looking for 5 full-time native instructors as our customer base is growing very rapidly, and this coming spring we are opening two new schools in Bunkyo-ku and in Toyosu.

Please note that we are also searching for part-time instructors for weekday afternoons (including 3-7pm).

◆ Anchor Studio’s candidates' profiles:
・Holder of a Bachelors’ degree
・Native English speaker or a bilingual Japanese (TOEIC 950 or above)
・At least one year experience in teaching English as a second language
・Professional, punctual, reliable, and flexible
・Currently resides in Japan

◆ Our compensation proposal for a full-time English instructor is as follows:
・Monthly Yen 270,000 – 310,000 plus travel expenses depending on skills and experience
・Semi-annual bonuses
・Renewable 1-year contract
・5 days a week (Sundays and Mondays off) – 11am-8:20 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1-9pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 10am-6pm on Saturdays
・Holidays include National Holidays, Christmas-New Year break (c. 1 weeks), GW break (c. 1 week) and Summer break (c. 1week)
・Plus personal 5 paid holidays annually after 6 months
