Full-time English Instructor - Aichi/Gifu (expired)

Sakai English School in Ichinomiya, Ama, and Hashima is hiring for April 2024!

Sakai English School is a mid-sized English Conversational School (Eikaiwa) with around 500 students ranging mainly in age from 2-15 and some High-School and Adult students, located in 3 different cities, central Ichinomiya in Aichi Prefecture, Ama in Aichi Prefecture, and Hashima in Gifu Prefecture.

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who loves teaching English, shows an eagerness to learn, is able to effectively teach all ages of students, and challenges to combine his/her personal experiences as well as his/her education and curricular knowledge in order to achieve his/her goal of being a compassionate and empathetic teacher.

All staff (Native teachers and Japanese assistant teachers) help each other to make our students happy and improve our continually evolving curriculum. You'll be joining a diverse team, so we look forward to working with thoughtful people who have the ability to cooperate with people with different backgrounds and personalities.

Japanese skill is not mandatory, but preferred.
Teaching experience is not necessary, but a university degree is required.
Experienced teachers are preferred especially who have teaching qualifications.

[Hours]

5 days/week (Mon.-Fri.), PM 1:30 - PM 9:30, with roughly 5-6 classes(30-60min /lesson) on average per day

or

5 days/week (Tue.-Sat.), Saturday schedule is AM 9:15 - PM 3:15


[Holidays]

130 vacation days, including weekends and the three main holidays in Japan; Summer holiday (about 2 weeks), Christmas and New Year holiday (about 2 weeks), and Golden-Week in May(about 9 days)


[Salary]

Starting at 250,000 yen/month (before tax), and end-of-year performance based bonus
