Blue Dolphins International Preschool is currently seeking a FULL-TIME teacher for our Blue Dolphins Preschool Mikage.

【Position Overview】
• Start Date: Between February and March, with a few weeks to a month of training.
• Responsible for teaching pre-kinder to elementary school students. You will be the primary teacher for the pre-kinder class and the afternoon kinder class.
• Plans and implements engaging and educational lessons.
• Participates in school events such as Halloween party, Sports Festival, Christmas Party, etc.

【Working Conditions】
• Work Days: 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, with occasional weekend work for events a few times a year.
• Work Hours: Tue to Fri 9:45-18:00, Sat 9:45-16:00

【Salary and Benefits】
• Starting salary of 255,000, plus a teaching license/certificate allowance for those with a valid license/certificate.
• Fully covered transportation fee.
• Social insurance and pension provided.
• Visa renewal support available.
• Paid Summer holiday, Paid Winter holiday, plus 10 paid vacation days.

【Requirements】
• Currently residing in Hyogo or Osaka.
• Native English speaker.
• Possesses a valid visa status to work legally in Japan without initial sponsorship (visa renewal sponsorship is provided).
• Proficient in creating lesson plans.

The following are strong assets for the position:
• Educational background in teaching, childcare, music, or art.
• Teaching certificate.
• Japanese proficiency.
• Experience working with toddlers.
• Experience teaching grammar classes at an elementary school level.
• Experience carrying out formal assessments on students.

【Hiring Process】
Our hiring process consists of two steps:
① Face-to-face interview.
② Demo lesson at the school with students.
*Interview and demo lesson are held on different days.

Although we offer lessons/classes to support children's English, our school is distinct from general English conversation schools. It is considered an international preschool/kindergarten where children learn IN English. Therefore, we are seeking candidates with experience developing educational curricula and/or lesson plans that best support children in all developmental areas in an English environment. We also welcome those passionate and enthusiastic about working and improving together with the children!

Due to the large number of applications we receive, we may only contact applicants deemed suitable for an interview. After a successful interview, you will move on to a demo lesson at one of the schools, which may last for 1 hour to a couple of hours.
