English Teacher for After school (expired)

We have been running an after school in Omori for 9years, teaching various subjects like English, Math,Speed reading and Programming.

Responsibilities:
-From 16:10 to 16:30 Support the kids with our English home work (mainly workbooks)
-From 16:35 to 17:20 Assist the main English teacher in the second grade class (class room setup)
-From 17:25 to 18:10 Assist the main teacher in the conversation class (fourth graders and up,it is a mixed-grade class)
-Provide help during summer(six weeks), winter(two weeks) and spring(two weeks) breaks
-Provide support during events, excursions, and summer camp with kids(3-day 2-night stay out side Tokyo)
-Take charge of the classes when a teacher is on leave (Max of two 45-minute classes)
-No need to create lesson plans

Qualifications:
-Native English speakers are preferred. If not, your English fluency should be near-native
-Fresh graduates and international students are welcome to apply
-It would be best if you are currently working as an ALT because of the work schedule
-No applicants outside Japan
-Any teaching-related experience is not required
-Must be punctual and responsible

Wage: 1,600~1700yen per hour
Transportaion allowance: Fully coverd
Working hours:16:10~18:10, Monday ~ Friday (Working hour is negociable)

We recommend starting around March 2024 for you to get familiar with the environment before the new first graders arrive in April 2024.
