About us:

Our journey began in 1952, and since then, we've been at the forefront of innovation, inspiration, and imagination (“3I”) shaping the landscape of hair care with cutting-edge technologies. In 1988, we made history by introducing "hair wax" DEUXER brand to the Japanese market, setting a precedent for trends in the beauty industry. Our trailblazing spirit continued as we unveiled revolutionary perm technologies previously unseen in Japan and pioneered the now ubiquitous "hair manicure." PERFETTO brand.

In 2015, we obtained ISO 22716 certification, followed by COSMOS certification in 2016, and then Halal certification in 2019. These authentic international accreditations allow us to produce and market our products globally. We are genuinely committed to botanical products that reduces harm to the environment. The connection between botanical products and organic cosmetics has emerged as a viable option to sustain well-being. In order to manufacture and release such products, we took significant steps to align with international standards.

Our mission extends beyond the realms of commerce; we aspire to contribute not only to the beauty industry but also to corporate responsibility. Number Three envisions and advocates for the creation of salons that embody wellness in every aspect – a sanctuary that is gentle to the body, mind, and environment. Grounded in internationally certified organic, natural, and botanical products, we strive to redefine beauty by prioritizing sustainability and health.

Our company has committed to the international initiative for greenhouse gas reduction, known as "SBT" (Science-Based Targets), and has been certified for our short-term goal of reducing CO₂ emissions by 42% (Scope 1 & 2) by the year 2030, as well as our long-term goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 (Scope 1 & 2 & 3), a recognition we received in October 2022.

In our earnest efforts to reduce CO₂ emissions, our company has decided to take comprehensive measures. While our existing solar power generation has already contributed to an annual reduction of 16 tons of CO₂, we are further committing to the full-scale adoption of LED lighting throughout our headquarters and factory building, as well as expanding our solar power capacity. By implementing these initiatives, we aim to achieve an additional annual reduction of 24 tons of CO₂. Additionally, a plan to convert all lighting to LED throughout our headquarters and factory building is expected to result in a yearly reduction of 20 tons of CO₂.
Furthermore, we have made changes to our fleet of business vehicles, primarily transitioning to hybrid cars and introducing several electric vehicles. We are also pursuing additional carbon reduction measures such as setting temperature limits for air conditioning and restricting the use of elevators, with the goal of achieving an annual reduction of over 24 tons of CO₂.
In terms of employee initiatives, we introduced VEGAN lunches in November 2023 and embarked on a tree-planting initiative in the Rokko area of Hyogo Prefecture in 2024, demonstrating our firm commitment to a collective effort in reducing CO₂ emissions. As such, our approach to employee welfare aligns with our ethos of promoting a harmonious balance between personal health and professional fulfillment.

In our product development, we are transitioning our packaging materials to biomass plastic, standardizing containers, and implementing measures to reduce the purchase and inventory of materials. These efforts are aimed at decreasing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with our products. Our company remains dedicated to strengthening our stance and collective efforts towards CO₂ reduction across all facets of our operations.
Number Three remains unwavering in its dedication to surpassing customer expectations. We thrive on challenges, continuously pushing boundaries to unveil novel beauty techniques and products that not only meet but exceed the diverse needs of our clientele. With each innovation, we aim to bring smiles to the faces of countless individuals, ensuring that the Number Three experience is synonymous with unparalleled excellence and Wellbeing.
