Job Scope:
This position deals with managing property for luxury properties in the Shizuoka and Tokyo areas for overseas guests and travelers. It will involve working directly with contractors and vendors in Japan to coordinate the acquisition of properties listed by local real estate agents and communicating with local vendors for construction and renovation projects. The position will also require management of the property and website for bookings (via Airbnb, etc.).
Market Research: You will provide comprehensive research and step-by-step guidance in
forming a viable business venture.
Real Estate: You will research properties that fit your client's specifications. You will also
contact rental agencies in Japan and relay that information to your clients.
This position requires native-level Japanese as a minimum and a valid driver’s license for Japan. Driving to locations in Tokyo and Shizuoka areas will be mandatory so the ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive for this position.
- Monitors the maintenance activities to ensure requests are performed effectively and efficiently.
- Creates work orders and assigns work orders to multiple technicians, subcontractors and vendors.
- Communicates work orders to the team and assists management in resolving problems.
- Provides reports on open and closed work orders and checks status with the appropriate technician or vendor.
- Maintains files on work orders, proposals, and department file
- Creates vendor files and checks accuracy on completed paperwork submitted by vendors.
- Responsible for reporting contract & budget negotiation progress to internal and external project teams; and
- Maintains properties and bookings of properties for guests.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external project teams.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience dealing with real estate or property management in Japan
- Experience with managing Airbnb or similar properties is a plus
- Flexible with multitasking and strong communication skills
- Comfortable in a start-up environment working independently and with teams
- Fluent in Japanese
- Valid driver's license for Japan and willing to drive/travel for work
- Ability to speak English and/or Chinese a plus
Initial training and OJT is provided by the company. Flexible working hours and competitive salary and benefits.
