About

ICHIGO Inc. is a startup with the goal of sharing the traditional Japanese confectionaries and culture as well as the fun of Japanese pop culture through candy, snacks, and kawaii merchandise.
We currently cater to subscribers in over 120 countries in the world.

We are a diverse team comprised of 80% International staff and 20% Japanese staff.
Our office is located at the buzzing Tamachi station on the JR Yamanote line.
We have just moved to a new office in the summer of 2022, providing a clean and comfortable working environment!

Why work for us

ICHIGO offers six main services.

Sakuraco, a subscription-based service, delivers Japanese sweets and Japanese tea from long-established Japanese confectionery makers across Japan with a different theme each month, and also aims to contribute to regional revitalisation by providing overseas sales channels for Japanese regional manufacturers.
TokyoTreat, another subscription-based service, offers Japanese confectionery and soft drinks that are more pop culture-oriented than Sakuraco's, and mainly offers limited-time and Japan-only items from major brands.
Other subscription services include YumeTwins, which delivers character goods and stationery, and NoMakeNoLife, which offers Japanese and Korean cosmetics and beauty products.

It is not only subscription services that ICHIGO is sending out to the world.
ICHIGO is also proud to offer JapanHaul, where you can easily purchase Japanese goods in small quantities, and TokyoCatch, an online crane game service that can be played from anywhere in the world.

ICHIGO employees come from a wide range of nationalities.
In addition to English and Japanese, we often teach each other about each other's culture, which makes every day a very fulfilling experience.
